Once you have kitted yourself out with the best snowboarding clothes and a good snowboard, you will probably starting to find the strain on your pocket. As snowboarding is seasonal, demand will be high, and will reach peaks at times like school breaks and over Christmas / New Years. The best strategy here is, if you can do it, is to avoid going to the snow in peak times. If you go outside peak times, i.e. early or late in the seaons, you risk reduced snow conditions. But with a bit of thinking and research you can minimise this risk.
